Founded in 2024 by designer Kate Choi, Only If You Know^™ is a handmade New York jewelry line.

Born and educated in fine art in Seoul, South Korea, Kate moved to New York in 2006 and entered the American jewelry industry as an emerging designer. Over the next decade she rose through New York's design houses, founding her own studio, Frenzy Jewels, in 2016 — and bringing original work to market through major retailers, specialty wholesalers, and independent boutiques across the United States, Europe, and South Korea.

OIYK^™ is built on what she calls a color-memory connection — the idea that the right palette, the right weight, the right thread of light through a stone can return a wearer to a specific feeling, place, or person. Gemstones, freshwater pearls, seed beads, shells, brass, and vintage-inspired details, layered with intention on clean, minimal forms.

Each piece carries the irregularities of natural materials — pearls that aren't symmetrical, shells that catch light differently — because the imperfection is the point.
